This product is the Chinese version, so all plugs are Chinese standard. To ensure compatibility in your country, you must select the correct plug type when making your purchase. We will include the appropriate adapter free of charge according to the SKU you choose.

Purchase instruction

Important note

This device is the Chinese version, but it works universally. Before adding the device, you must change the region of your Mi Home app to "Chinese Mainland" and set the language to your native language. Devices from other regions will not be recognized if you do not make this adjustment.

Step-by-step setup guide

1. Download the Mi Home app

Make sure to install the latest version of the app. After opening it, go to: Profile → Additional settings

2. Change the region

In Language and region, set: Region: Chinese Mainland

3. Connect the power

Connect the adapter cable to the camera's power port.
The camera will turn on automatically.
The indicator light will turn yellow and you will hear a voice message confirming power on.
In the app, tap the "+" symbol in the upper right corner and select Scan.

4. Reset the device

Follow the on-screen instructions and select Reset device.

5. Select the WiFi network

Choose 2.4GHz WiFi (not compatible with 5GHz or higher). Click Next.

6. Complete the pairing

Continue the steps until the connection is successful.

Powering on the device

Insert the power adapter cable into the camera's power port. The camera will turn on automatically.

The indicator light will remain solid yellow.
You will hear a voice message, confirming that startup was successful.

Connecting with the Mi Home app

This product is integrated into Mi Home, allowing full control from the app and compatibility with other devices in the Xiaomi ecosystem.

You can:

Scan the QR code to download the app, or
Search for "Mi Home" in the app store and install it.

If you already have Mi Home installed, the page to add the device will open directly.

On the Mi Home main screen:

Tap the "+" symbol in the upper right corner.
Follow the app's instructions to add the camera.
